The Idea Behind Camera di Compensazione
During the Covid lockdown, IT expert Francesco Pagano and his son Riccardo, an economist, combined their expertise to find a concrete solution to the financial difficulties faced by Italian businesses. Their goal was to address one of the biggest challenges in the business world: the lack of liquidity caused by late payments.
What started as an idea for a scientific paper on voluntary offsetting (Article 1252 of the Italian Civil Code) soon turned into a software prototype capable of identifying and facilitating multilateral compensation of commercial credits. That prototype has now evolved into Camera di Compensazione, an innovative platform that helps companies reduce payment delays and improve their financial stability.
